Affirmations are nice but we have to know how to apply them properly. The
only way for them to work is if we put enough emotions into them. To have
that strong emotion we must excite ourselves about the purpose of our
affirmation, so it will almost feel as if we are bursting of joy.
Each of us have tremendous power, all we have to know is how to use it. If
one person has power, it is natural to understand that more people have
stronger power. Together the power would amplify.
Examples of this are the prayer groups where they have achieved miracles
many times. Miracles are nothing else but the power of our mind or minds.
There are lots of examples of this power.
One of them happened many years back. An earthquake was coming toward
Tehran, which is the capital of Iran. Scientists know that an earthquake
always only travels straight ahead. In spite of that approximately 100 to
120 people came together in meditation and prayer. Just before the
earthquake would hit Tehran it split to the left and to the right. That was
the first time in history that it ever happened. It was a miracle, and yes,
as we said before, it was a miracle of minds.
We have been given those powers but most of the time we don't use them, or
perhaps we don't know that we are using them.
That power can be used for good or bad things. When we say "my life is no
good", "I will never have enough money" or "that money will never come" or
"arrive", "look how long it is taking" we are putting tremendous power into
the negative. We must change that immediately.
Yes, our power is so strong that it can bring in anything we want (be it
negative or positive), the choice is ours.
Those are universal laws and the universal laws apply to every person in
this whole wide world, whether we like it or not or believe in it or not.
Everybody talks about the Secret book these days and, yes, every person
should read it.
If most of us had known about the universal laws, "Planet Earth" would not
be where it is now. Perhaps we could have saved it long ago.
Those laws are established in the Bible which is where they originate.
Remember: you can move mountains with faith.
Other examples of power - one person has so much power that he or she can
light up Toronto for a whole week (Secret book). It only takes 7 people to
change the consciousness of Toronto (we are talking about Toronto because we
live here).

There is a book by David Hawkins called Power vs Force that talks about shifting frequencies.

This is the first book in Dr. David R. Hawkins' trilogy of consciousness. In Power vs Force, Dr. Hawkins describes how he used kinesiology (aka "muscle testing") to investigate consciousness. He determined that the human experience can be placed on a scale that he labeled from 1 to 1000. At the low end of the scale are Guilt (30), Fear (100) and Anger (150). Humans experiencing this level of consciousness feel victimized by the effect of the forces of the universe. Higher on the scale are Courage (200), Willingness (310), Reason (400) and Love (500). Humans experiencing life at this level feel that they are the source of their lives. At the highest end of the scale of human experience (600-1000) are the qualities that transcend duality. This book calibrates at a level of 850.
